Well, I do multiple times a month actually. This particular day was mid-March and winter was making me feel a tad stir crazy. I just felt the need to see spring so after seeing a Tulip Event in Hartford listed on my Instagram page, I packed up the car and just left with my nieces for a day trip.
Long road trips with children can be a huge gamble. You can never really predict their moods and they could just break down with a loud cry in front of a crowd of people or they could be perfect little angels. You just never really know…
You express to yourself, it could be a HUGE fail
or
it could be a grand adventure.
This road trip was a risk I was willing to take to see spring weather for a day. I am happy to report that in this trip we all made it out alive thanks to snacks and portable drawing pads.
