Mini session FAQ/ Details

I am so excited to photograph all the families on December 1st at Barristers Coffee Co in Danbury. This location is just a beautiful one just perfect for minis with their tall ceilings, the gigantic windows, and rustic charm look. The space and light at this location is just to die for.

Some frequently asked questions are popping up, so I’m going to address them with all of you, just in case you’re wondering how things work

Do we have to pay a retainer to reserve a time slot?

Yes! There is a $150 retainer due at the time of booking that will reserve a slot for mini sessions on 12/1. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the session date and images will not be delivered until the final payment is received in full.

Will we receive the photos in time to make holiday cards?

YES! There will be a super-fast turn around time of 1 week! All galleries will be delivered to your inbox by Saturday, December 7th at 11:59 pm.

Where will it be taking place?

Barristers Coffee Co in downtown Danbury. This location is just so dreamy and the light is just beautiful!

How many digitals do we receive?

5 digitals in total. You will receive a gallery of 12-15 images

What if I can’t decide which images to buy?

No problem! You can purchase the full gallery, there is an option to upgrade your gallery to receive the full gallery of 12-15 images. There is also an option to purchase individual files or prints.

How long do I have to order?

The gallery will be available to view for 3 days of your choice. If you would like extended time to view, there is a fee to extend.

Will there be a place to sit for photos?

Yes, I have a beautiful gray tufted bench for the minis which will make the perfect spot for cuddly family photos. I will be moving some of the furniture in the shop to make more open space and fewer distractions in the background. Some other special touches around the location will be added on the day of the shoot.

What should we wear?
I usually recommend my clients dress in neutral and softer colors as I think they photograph beautifully. I recommend clients avoid busy patterns, bright colors (they can create a cast on your skin) and clothing with wording or characters on it as they can be distracting. I have a board on Pinterest for suggestions of what to wear for these Fall/Winter photos.

There will be five slots on Sunday, December 1st offered in the morning hours
